7:23AM - Another Manic Monday...

Well, Mother's Day is over for another year. Thank goodness. Brunch was lovely. DH made brunch as he always does on Sunday and it was yummy. Children gave me (with help from Daddy) Girl With a Pearl Earring DVD and a beautiful purple tile - I love both of them :)

Then we went downtown in search of buffs for our mini Survivor party. I didn't really want to go downtown, but we'd forgotten to do it on Saturday, so down we went. S. complained about everything and wanted to buy everything that looked 'Survivorish'. Drove me crazy. B. of course just wants to walk everywhere and takes her time about it. Sigh. We did have a nice picnic lunch down at Ship's Point.

Got home, nursed B. to sleep. Watched the first part of Stargate the movie (which I'd planned to do), then took off for the Moka House to write with the new laptop. Which didn't start up. So, I left and I was mad. Came home very frustrated, and DH seemed to figure out what was wrong. I planned to take the laptop upstairs to write - and hide from DD for a while, but DH took too long and DS was too loud so DD woke up.

Then I got really upset. Cuddled with DD for a bit then went upstairs, found a sunny spot and read a stupid romance novel. Came downstairs and told DH that I was not going to his mother's house for dinner. That went over fine.

I actually enjoyed the almost four hours of solitude. Wrote 500 words on a new story. Cleaned up a bit, watched tv for a bit, made the buffs, decorated for Survivor, then worried when they didn't get back until 8:30pm. Took it out on DH. Felt bad. Ended up enjoying Survivor but had more fun taking pictures of the family wearing their buffs.

10:40AM - First Entry

Well, here I am after reading a bunch of entries of both people I know (and a few that I don't). No one knows I'm reading the entries as yet - I don't know if I mean to keep it that way or not. We'll see. More later... this is pretty much a test.
